Validation and Test Engineer

• Senior Test Engineer for UPS Hardware and Firmware Design Verification & Testing , as a DVT engineer understanding the UPS architecture and hardware/Firmware design verification test methods.
• To Work closely with the design team and lead DVT plan generation and schedule for PMP programs.
• To Create test plan. Estimation of the test time. Determines test requirements for each design element's

• To mentor verification engineers on testing procedure & setups

• To coordinate new/external test plan generation

• To Perform, review the test and verify performance as per the specification, implicit industry standards, and APC design standards tests.

• To Design and fabricate the test fixtures to suit test methods.

• To debug , find root cause & provide input to Design team . To support/analyse/simulate quality issues

• Interact and coordinate, share the efforts within the Project team

• Document and present and manage all the communications associated with in the scope of his responsibility

Desired Skill sets

• Exposure to EMI testing and Test labs

• Exposure to safety testing equipment.

• Hands experience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design testing and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Experience in handling the lab instruments like Oscilloscope, AC source, Power analyser, DMM, DC source, Data logger as a part of DVT execution.
• Hands on testing with VRLA and Li Ion battery testing
• Good English verbal & Written communication skills
  • Qualifications: B. E (E& C, E& E, Instrumentation)
  Experience: 4-8 Years

Qualifications
