The Job:
- Collaborate with teams across Formlabs to edit videos such as product launch videos, workflow demos, user stories, event montages, and more
- Work closely with the Video Producer, Studio Production Manager, and Creative Director to deliver compelling, high quality, and on-brand video content
- Able to meet with the team 1-2 times per week to receive assignments and feedback
- Visit the Somerville office as needed to pick up and drop off hard drives
- Execute 10 to 20 hours of editing work per week
You:
- Confident working with DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro
- Possess a home editing suite capable of handling up to 4K footage
- In-depth understanding of non-linear post-production, ideally experienced in color correction/grading, audio syncing/cleanup, and multicam editing
- Excellent project and timeline organization; must be able to hand-off an edit if required
- Comfortable with a highly iterative creative process, able and willing to try things quickly and learn from each pass
- Ability to think creatively and produce superb work under tight deadlines
Bonus:
- Experience in After Effects, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop
- An interest in motion graphics
- Familiarity with Frame.io and DAM (Digital Asset Management)
