Job Summary: 

The Vice President Business Development, Fulfillment by iHerb (FBi) will lead the growth and execution of our FBi business. This includes strategies to grow FBi and to effectively develop, enhance and maintain the program. FBi is our complete e-commerce, fulfillment, and logistics platform that allows us to help companies manage their direct to consumer business. This newly formed business unit focuses on leveraging our existing distribution and fulfillment network to enable outside retailers to fill their customers’ orders. This role will work cross-functionally with our technology, operations, global logistics, customer experience, and merchandising teams as well as external partners to drive growth and successful delivery of FBi.


Job Expectations:

  • Lead the development and implementation of FBi.
  • Point of contact for all aspects of the FBi program including for our existing FBi business partners, reaching out to new potential business customers, and coordinating with our internal teams to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Spearhead the creation and execution of the strategic vision for FBi, work cross functionally with iHerb teams to fulfill performance and growth objectives to ensure maximum impact and efficiency.
  • Build and manage business development activities for FBi, including identifying and outreach to potential customers, preparing presentations and program overviews.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Construct FBi contracts and SLAs, lead contract discussions, and ensure compliance.  
  • Collaborate with existing customers to ensure the program aids in their success and adds value to their business, and identify and implement program enhancement opportunities.
  • Manage all components of the FBi business P&L, including revenue, gross profit, operating expense. Create and own measurable KPIs to track performance.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers and internal teams.

        

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:        

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the ecommerce space. 
  • Ability to successfully create and maintain a business account and manage P&L.
  • Skilled at Executive level partner relationship building and presenting.
  • Agile to changing business conditions and proven ability to work in fast paced environments.
  • Excellent organization, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing, ecommerce B2C operations preferred.
  • Understanding and preferred experience marketing similar programs.
  • Proven success collaborating and communicating effectively across all levels of an organization, from C-level to individual contributor level.


Equipment Knowledge:

  • High aptitude and ability to make efficient use of online productivity and communication tools, including Google Workspace suite and Asana.

Experience Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development and account management, program design and execution, and working with cross functional teams on projects.
  • Experience in the Vitamin, Mineral and Supplement space
  • Experience working with a growth-oriented, large global organization is a plus.
  • Adept at scaling up a business segment to meet organizational goals.


Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • MBA is a plus

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
Employees (and their families) that meet eligibility criteria as outlined in applicable plan documents are eligible to participate in our medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance programs and may enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company’s policies. Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.

$220,000—$386,000 USD
