Position Overview:
As the VP, Head of Platform Engineering (Principal Engineer) for our Enterprise Platform Team, you will be a key driver in the development and execution of our platform's overall strategy. You'll lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly platform. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and set the direction for our platform's development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and scale the next generation of Enterprise Platform Services including User Interface (UI) framework, API, and Data.
- Work closely with stakeholders and management to define and deliver the team's strategic roadmap.
- Mentor and coach external teams across Broadridge to enable engineering excellence, and ensure the team outputs high-quality, well-tested code.
- Accountable for the operations of the platform including implementation of SRE and QE practices.
- Own the inner source platform and activation of the community to drive active engagement/contribution.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in technical lead or architect role
- 7 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products
- Experience building highly available, highly scalable platforms that power multiple products.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them.
- Passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision in written and verbal modes.
- Passionate about mentoring and upleveling team members
- Bonus points if you've had direct experience with the Identity domain.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Salary Range: $225K - $250K
Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and education
