VP of Social Media

The Daily Wire is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic VP of Social Media with a profound understanding of social media dynamics and a proven track record of elevating engagement across diverse platforms. Aspiring to lead and inspire a dynamic social team, the objective is to leverage innovative concepts, and data-driven insights. The goal is to collaborate seamlessly with the Social Media Optimizer, identify and brand talent effectively. Reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Marketing, contributing to the overall success of our brand's social media presence. The aim is to drive conversions of memberships through organic social media marketing, drive increased engagement, create a culture of excellence, and consistently exceed performance metrics in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Direction and Approvals

Provide creative direction and approvals for all social media content to ensure alignment with our brand vision and objectives. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the social team.

Performance Tracking and Optimization

Monitor and track the performance of social media campaigns to maximize engagement and views. Collaborate with the Social Media Optimizer to implement best practices and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data and trends to make informed decisions for optimizing content across different platforms.

Collaboration and Reporting

Work closely with talent, brands, product and other relevant teams to identify talent and leverage their strengths on specific platforms. Report directly to the Executive Vice President of Marketing on the social team's performance, successes, and areas for growth.

Innovative Concepts and Privacy Compliance

Develop and implement innovative concepts to captivate our audience and differentiate us in the market. Stay informed about industry trends, social media algorithms, and privacy policies to ensure compliance and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Sprout Socials or similar social media analytics platform.

- Proven experience as a Social Media VP or in a similar role within a fast-paced marketing environment.

- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and user behavior.

- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and inspire the social team.

- Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making.

- Innovative thinker with a track record of successful social media campaigns.

Start date: Immediate

Employment type: Full-time; Exempt

Compensation: Dependent upon experience
