Job Description
Broadridge is hiring the Head of Workplace Technology to join the Global Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions Team. In this role you will be responsible to lead a globally distributed team as well as design and implement a connected workplace strategy that brings together global technical support, endpoint engineering, messaging and collaboration engineering to enable an effective and efficient workforce. This leader will need to facilitate an exemplary associate experience as their upmost priority while balancing the enterprise needs.
You will be responsible for Team Leadership & Management, Global Technical Support & Associate Experience, Endpoint Engineering, Messaging and Collaboration Engineering and Risk & Compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a strategic vision; provide the leadership domain expertise to assure the consistent execution of this vision
• You will focus on driving the strategy, execution, and support of global workplace projects including end user support.
• Effectively manage workplace technology strategic vendors, cultivate partnerships, provide governance around vendor deliverables
• You will develop Enterprise Desktop Standards and will oversee Enterprise System Rollouts and Automated Desktop Application Deployments.
• You will develop and implement the strategy for the Help Desk, Onsite Tech Support and Executive Support implementing best practices providing a highly effective 24x7x365 support team.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• 10+ years of shown success in Desktop Thin Client, Desktop App Virtualization and Desktop Enterprise Collaboration Tools including a mix of hands-on technical work along with leadership oversight responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Experience leading within a large enterprise
• Experience leading fast-paced organizations through disruption and transformation
• Ability to balance immediate operational and business demands, with long term strategic planning, for the benefit of the organization
• Experience recruiting, leading, and mentoring diverse groups of leaders and engineers in a remote work environment
• Proven experience working and collaborating with business controls and internal & external audit reviews.
• Thorough understanding of project management, resource management methodologies and project life cycle process.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach and train staff.
• Ability to work cross functionally within IT and the business.
• Experience working in a controlled and validated environment (Sarbanes Oxley) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology related field or equivalent experience
• Exhibited technical expertise related to large-scale infrastructure deployments
• Proven track record in strategic planning, tactical planning, business, and project management as well as customer and vendor relationship building
• Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills with the ability to positively impact an organization's bottom line
• Success motivating and aligning large cross-functional, matrixed teams striving towards a common goal

• Enthusiastic problem solver, have advanced critical and strategic thinking skills, have strong attention to detail, have a strong understanding of business processes and the integration of technological processes, work comfortably with senior business leadership, work comfortably in a collaborative environment
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT or business / industry, with 3 or more years of leadership responsibilities including strategy, budgeting, and staffing.
