We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Website Manager to oversee our online presence across Europe. This role will manage our WordPress-based websites in UK, Bulgaria ,Portugal, Germany and France taking ownership for website changes within our WordPress content management system. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress management, technical SEO, content optimization, and web analytics, ensuring a seamless user experience while advising on tactics to drive measurable traffic growth.

Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our WordPress websites across Europe to ensure a seamless, responsive, and mobile-first user experience, while maintaining brand consistency and high standards of web design. 
• Manage the selection, installation, and updating of plugins, ensuring compatibility, security, and minimal impact on performance. 
• Implement custom functionalities using modern development practices, such as custom Gutenberg blocks, hooks, and APIs, where necessary. 
• Continuously monitor and improve website performance, including load times, uptime, and mobile responsiveness, using industry-leading tools like GTMetrix, WebPageTest, or Lighthouse. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, focusing on optimizing both front-end and back-end performance, including server-side caching, database optimizations, and plugins. 

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom theme development, plugin customization, and the use of advanced WordPress tools (e.g., Gutenberg blocks, WP-CLI, Advanced Custom Fields). 
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including ES6+), with familiarity in React and modern front-end frameworks for WordPress integration. 
• Experience with WordPress-specific optimization tools (e.g., WP Rocket, Autotomize, Cloudflare) to enhance speed and performance. 
• Expertise in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, conducting security audits, and applying updates/patches to prevent breaches. 
• Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO (e.g., schema markup, site speed, mobile optimization), keyword research, and on-page optimization. 
• Expertise in Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO/analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
• Familiarity with website hosting, DNS management, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
