JOB OVERVIEW:

TE Connectivity is looking for an Account Manager to drive sales and manage customer relationships in the renewable energy market within the Nordic region mainly in Denmark. This is a fully remote role, based in Denmark, focused on expanding TE Energy's presence in a growing market. The role involves identifying and securing new opportunities, providing technical product information, and supporting the broader EMEA sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute customer growth plans aligned with TE Energy's business strategy to ensure revenue growth, account penetration, and customer satisfaction. Include key details like buying cycles, customer goals, market information, and competitive analysis.
  • Coordinate with the BDM team and technical experts to influence key market players and expand TE's presence in the renewable energy sector.
  • Communicate customer growth plans clearly with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across Sales, Engineering, and Product Management.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, positioning TE Energy as a preferred supplier by understanding customer needs and promoting relevant products and solutions.
  • Actively manage project pipelines and ensure timely involvement in new opportunities. Keep reporting tools, like Salesforce, updated.
  • Address customer issues proactively, ensuring quality resolution and timely delivery of quotes and technical information.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor KPIs, and report on project performance while promoting TE's value to the customer.
  • Provide after-sales support through regular follow-ups and site visits.
  • Oversee the engineering project pipeline and align with growth strategies.
  • Support marketing efforts, demonstrate TE products, and participate in industry events.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales or product management within an industrial or energy market.
  • Fluency in English is required, Danish is a plus
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans and identify new business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a history of managing complex accounts and contracts.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools like Salesforce, Excel, and Tableau.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Nordic region, with a valid driver's license.
