A Call to Action: Breaking the Cycle of Apathy

In a world where complacency has become the norm, it's time to ask ourselves: where is our outrage? We're stuck in a rut, accepting the status quo, while our leaders steer us towards disaster. It's time to break free from the cycle of apathy and demand change.

Lee Iacocca's recent book, "Where Have All the Leaders Gone," echoes the sentiments of frustration and disillusionment many of us feel. We're tired of being led astray by self-serving politicians and corporate giants who prioritize profits over people. It's time to hold them accountable and demand a better future.

As Tom Herbek, our Pastor, so eloquently put it, anger can be a powerful catalyst for change. Instead of accepting the current state of affairs, we must channel our frustration into action. We must start taking small steps towards creating a better world, one where everyone has a chance to thrive.

The questions we should be asking ourselves are: why are we settling for a system that rewards greed and inefficiency? Why are we allowing our leaders to prioritize their own interests over the well-being of the people? Why are we accepting a reality where hardworking individuals are struggling to make ends meet while the top 1% reap all the benefits?

It's time to shake off the apathy and take control of our future. As Iacocca so boldly states, "You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action." We all have a role to play in shaping a better tomorrow.

So, let's rise up and demand change. Let's tell our leaders that we've had enough of their broken promises and empty rhetoric. It's time to take action, to make our voices heard, and to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
