It's understandable to have reservations, but if you're asking for someone's expertise, it's crucial to hear them out.

Asking questions is a vital part of learning and growth, but it's equally important to listen actively and avoid becoming defensive. If you need clarification, ask follow-up questions to ensure you understand the advice being offered. Avoid sidetracking the conversation by listing reasons why the advice won't work. If you've already tried a particular approach or know the information being shared, simply acknowledge it and move forward.
