Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations is at Eglin AFB in Valparaiso, FL

Full/part-time employees occupying direct childcare positions are eligible for discounts IAW DAF AFSVC/CC Memo, 30 Sep 22; first child 100% / each additional child 25%. Other assigned CYP and FCC personnel are eligible for 25% discount.

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience managing safety and/or security processes. This experience should include implementation of enterprise instructions and policies, preparations and participation in inspections and compliance assessments, and experience with generating novel approaches for meeting regulatory requirements for these disciplines.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. This is a non-bargaining, non-APDP position.
Must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the DO-01/GS-11 or equivalent grade level
Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills for technical and senior leader audiences
Desired Qualifications:
Background on managing safety or security related processes.
Experience in managing and implementing safety related processes.
Experience in managing and implementing safety related processes.
Knowledge of USAF safety and security OIs, regulations, and policies.
Experience with inspections and evaluations of safety and security programs.
Ability to lead teams in the implementation of processes driven by regulatory requirements.
Education
