Summary
This position is located at the Misawa Inn Lodging with the 35th Force Support Squadron, Misawa AB, Japan.
This is a Flexible category position; Guaranteed 0 hours per week, but may work up to 40 hours per week, depending on the needs of the facility.

Conditions of Employment
Must possess and maintain a valid regular or official passport.
Must possess ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must meet legal age requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages.
This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
Must be able to work an uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have experience in general clerical or cashier work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily in handling multiple tasks and providing quality customer service. Experience must have demonstrated the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payment from customers. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Must meet legal age requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background check.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
Additional information
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
Probationary period may be required.
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
