Summary This position is located in the Information Technology Division within the Department of Finance and Administration (A&F), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-13/14, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 4A/3B which is generally equal to GS-13/14. For this position, this examples of experience are: defining technical requirements for network and server infrastructure, including network management platforms, cloud computing solutions, cloud communications and collaboration systems, physical and virtual appliances, cloud storage, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software; coordinating network operations, server maintenance, and infrastructure support to ensure efficient operations and timely resolution of issues; providing input into project plans and budgets for network initiatives; working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of technical issues; and preparing technical specifications and acquisition documentation for IT resources and services. For this position, this examples of experience are: defining technical requirements for network and server infrastructure, including network management platforms, cloud computing solutions, cloud communications and collaboration systems, physical and virtual appliances, cloud storage, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software; coordinating network operations, server maintenance, and infrastructure support to ensure efficient operations and timely resolution of issues; developing project plans and budgets for network initiatives determining scope, methods, and resource requirements; administering IT-related contracts, including overseeing contractor performance to ensure services meet requirements while working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of technical issues; and preparing technical specifications and acquisition documentation for IT resources and services.
