ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as an executive/flag level protocol and administrative specialist providing support to U.S. Naval Attaches and embassy staff. You will serve as a primary contact for U.S. Navy's input to the Defense Intelligence Agency Defense Attache Service. This position is located within the Navy Attache Affairs Office of NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Suitland, Maryland. This position may require a two-year DCIPS trial period requirement. You may be required to travel up to 25% of the time for this position. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assign work based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of the employee to facilitate organizational efficiency; Coordinate support services provided by contracted companies (e.g., catering, vendors, facilities) to ensure services rendered comply with organizational protocol and budgetary guidance; Compose and manage written correspondence for senior leadership to maintain oversight and management continuity of internal operations.
