Summary As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, you will serve as a senior management official who reports directly to the Deputy CIO for Infrastructure and Shared Services (ISS). You will also plan, organize, implement, and direct activities associated with the delivery of infrastructure services (network, telecom, server and/or storage services). This position is located in Information Technology Services within Washinton, DC. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. Qualifications You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: To qualify for the NB-VII level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-VI or GS-14 in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position includes: Overseeing the delivery of infrastructure services in areas of network, telecommunications, server and/or storage services. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Education Education cannot be used to qualify for this position. Additional information This position is excluded from the bargaining unit. Salary range includes 25.04% geographical pay. Total pay cannot exceed applicable pay cap, which is $302,200 for 2024.
