Summary This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department - Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas. The primary purpose of this position is to provide control and assistance in the operation and maintenance of the MWR Auto Hobby Shop Program. Possess the ability to account for and control property and equipment inventory. Ability to understand and carry out both written and verbal instructions and to convey the same to others. Education or experience equivalent to the completion of high school. Ability to handle emergency situations. Within 90 days of hire, must possess a valid CPR and First Aid certification. Must be able to deal effectively with others and have the ability to maintain records and reports. Knowledge of environmental rules and regulations concerning procedures, equipment, and basic safety is required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with management, staff and guests. Must be able to carry out verbal and written instructions and intelligently convey the same to others. This position is subject to the possibility of workdays on weekends, evenings and holidays. In order to verify fitness for duty, a complete physical examination at a military medical facility may be required. Must possess a valid state driver license, as travel to other facilities may be required within the normal scope of duties. This position is subject to a favorable national background check. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
