Course Administration Specialist, CG-0301-11 (Term Appointment NTE 13 Months)

Summary This position is located in the Corporate University of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for the administration of a full range of training programs, activities and events. The candidate selected will be offered a term appointment not-to-exceed 13 months, which may be extended to a maximum of four years based on workload requirements and organizational staffing authorizations. Qualifications Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-09 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience administering courses, programs, or projects in support of employee training and development including scheduling classes, communicating with participants, and managing logistics. OR EDUCATION: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-11 level.   Applicants eligible for ICTAP (Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program) must achieve a score of 80 or higher in the online assessment to be determined “well qualified” for this position.
