Physician Medical Directorship in Colville, WA

This position could also be combined with medical director positions in the Spokane area to create a full-time role.Job Duties:  Primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilitiesManage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of careCollaborate with clinicians, facility leaders and others regarding care and servicesBuild relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment deliveryMedical director duties for assigned facilitiesProvide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our cliniciansConduct clinical case reviews, as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of careRepresent TeamHealth on appropriate external levels engaging and establishing/maintaining relationships within the post-acute care communityCollaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives, develop collaborative intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issuesSkills:Excellent clinical skillsCritical thinkingExcellent communication skillsTeam playerStrong work ethicEmpathy, compassion and ability to connect and engage with your senior patients and familyQualifications:Post-acute care experience a plus, but not requiredLeadership background a plus, but not required; training will be providedActive and unrestricted Washington licenseActive and unrestricted WA DEAOur compensation is a productivity-based model (fee for service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential.
