Summary This position is located in the Web, Marketing, and Communications Division (WMC), Office of Patent Information Resources (OPIR), Office of Information Technology for Patents (OITP), Office of the Commissioner for Patents, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Web, Marketing, and Communications Division (WMC) provides marketing and outreach services to facilitate greater understanding and knowledge of policy development and implementation of the various programs and applications. Specialized experience for this position includes: Providing technical skills in the development and interpretation of (Internet/Web) policies and procedures; having knowledge of Internet service concepts and best practices, interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines, and project management principles sufficient to provide technical advice, guidance, and recommendations. Advanced skill and experience in Microsoft's SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI), and custom SPFx WebParts to provide hands-on expertise in web coding and development, administration, maintenance, and technical and operational support of various SharePoint projects and programs, with assistance from senior staff on advanced issues. Also developing Web Code and utilizing IT platforms and advanced skill in development languages such as JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, REST, AngularJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, C#, Bootstrap, HTML/HTML5, XML, LESS, SASS, CSS, and ASPX, with guidance from senior developers on the most complex coding challenges. For the GS-13: For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12 or equivalent. Specialized experience for this position includes: Providing technical expertise and leadership in the development and interpretation of (Internet/Web) policies and procedures; having knowledge of Internet service concepts and best practices, interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines, and project management principles sufficient to provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations. Mastery skill and experience in Microsoft's SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI), and custom SPFx WebParts to provide day-to-day hands-on expertise in web coding and development, administration, maintenance, and technical and operational support of the various SharePoint projects and programs, with minimal assistance from senior staff on the most advanced issues. Also developing Web Code and utilizing IT platforms and advanced skill in development languages such as JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, REST, AngularJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, C#, Bootstrap, HTML/HTML5, XML, LESS, SASS, CSS, and ASPX, with minimal guidance from senior developers on the most complex coding challenges.
