A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
Must be willing to work varying and/or rotating shifts that includes working: days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para 2, to include a medical examination.
Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
All employees are required to be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division Supports. The events include but not limited to Octoberfest, Freedom Fest, Childrenโs Festival and Winterfest.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Meet state/local age (21) requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment.
Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
It is recommended the above abilities be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
Skill and Knowledge:
Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Applies arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.

Best Qualified Criteria:
Six (6) months experience working as a bartender.

PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
