Qualifications
Other Duties/ Responsibilities
Trains and/or coaches internal and partner training staff in design and presentation skills.
Works on a team that coordinates training conferences.
Monitors current training and development trends; makes appropriate recommendations for adaptation and inclusion in Senate training programs
Required Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with five to eight years or Master’s with three to five years of experience in platform and online training and development, and instructional design.
Required Special Skills/ Knowledge
Knowledge and application of Adult Learning Theory.
Experience with interactive and experiential learning.
Knowledge of an instructional design model. Ability to perform platform and online training.
Expert presentation/platform skills with practiced facilitation skills.
Knowledge of Organizational Development principles.

Desired Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning, or a related field, preferably in a large or government organization.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Instructional Design Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles, including familiarity with online learning tools and platforms.
Technical Training Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles with a focus on technical content, including familiarity with online learning tools, platforms, and technical learning methodologies.
Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated expertise in planning and facilitating training sessions, meetings, classes, or other large-scale events, with a focus on fostering engagement and collaboration.
Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and analyze feedback data to drive continuous program improvement.
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience consulting and collaborating with diverse teams.
Working Conditions
Sedentary. Work requires frequent physical effort walking, bending, crawling, standing for long durations.Â
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field.
