Academic Gastroenterologist with Proficiency in Endoscopic Ultrasonography and ERCP (3-309-1247)

ACADEMIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST WITH PROFICIENCY IN ENDOSCOPIC ULTRASONOGRAPHY AND ERCP (3-309-1247) – The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for an academic clinical gastroenterologist.  Working with our Advanced Endoscopy Program, this position will provide clinical service at the University of Maryland Downtown and Midtown Campus, as well as at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.   Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.  We offer competitive salary and benefits.  J-1 visa holders are encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates must possess superior clinical and advanced endoscopic skills and be BC/BE in Gastroenterology.  This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
