Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Review and reconcile vendor account balances
• Develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes and controls to enhance operational effectiveness
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and unit contacts, ensuring positive relationships with both vendors and internal stakeholders
• Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts payable accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and book accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare regular reports to management on accounts payable performance
• Provide support and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What skills you need:

• Proficient in English
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in accounts payable management
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• SAP experience

Nice to have:

• Experience in business use of MS Excel
• Communicative German language

Major Purpose
Supervises activities associated with a specialized accounting area to ensure transactions and required financial reporting are performed accurately, timely, and in accordance with published accounting principles and Company policy. Subordinates reporting to this position are typically clerical or entry level professionals. Oversees single complex process or multiple, less complex processes.
Major Duties

• Develop and deliver financial guidelines and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
• Work within established systems to deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area of financial control.
• Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
• Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.
• Explain the local action plan, to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done, and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organization's strategy, mission, and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
• Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
• Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
• Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.
