GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

FTT has an immediate need for an Aerodynamics Principal Engineer that will perform airfoil design and computational fluid dynamics analysis for commercial, space, and military engine programs. Responsibilities will include all aspects of the design process including conceptual design, geometry creation through CAD programs, CFD analysis to solve technical problems, and provide test support. This position provides opportunities for diverse technical challenges to work on a unique set of programs in a team environment.

• Experience in all phases of development: conceptual design, analysis, validation, and test strongly desired.
• Must be able to work with customers to define and document requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BS/MS/PHD in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 12-15 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Ansys software preferred.
