Job Description

Analyst – Risk and Insurance will carry out risk identification, monitoring, periodic risk assessment and drive on risk mitigation plans. Oversight over Insurance accounting. 

Key responsibilities include:

    Enterprise Risk Management:

    • Carry out risk assessments for assigned business units / processes
    • Monitor Key Risk Indicators of identified risks and highlight key changes.
    • Monitor ongoing mitigation plans along with BU SMEs and update the progress.
    • Perform periodic checks on mitigations and their status.
    • Help prepare periodic management reports
    • Identify early warning indicators
    • Maintain loss repository and other external alerts & analyze the risk exposure of the group.
    • Secondary research to identify customer risks, macroeconomic, geopolitical risks.
    • Compare peer information and update risk related information on an ongoing basis in order to periodically update internal stakeholders.
    • Prepare risk disclosures for annual filings such as 20F, Annual report, DJSI.

    Insurance controlling / accounting oversight:

    • Review accurate accounting of all Insurance policies and ensure proper allocation of insurance costs.
    • Budgeting activities for all the Insurance policies and support for BUs for Insurance allocations Budget.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and education:

    • CA / CMA / CWA / BTech
    • 2 to 5 years of experience

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Understanding of Risk Management frameworks.
    • Proven analytical skills required to organize and analyze multiple, complex data sets as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-energy organization.
