What You’ll Do:
- Work with partners to identify and prioritize risks to our members’ safety, and leverage in-app product solutions, back-end systems, and processes to effectively reduce prevalence and harm
- Develop expertise in the areas of content safety and account integrity, and the burgeoning technologies undergirding the efforts to improve and maintain them
- Work with pod, pillar, and company leadership to define the Trust & Safety product roadmap, develop metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, and drive cross-functional efforts across product, design, engineering, policy, community operations, and PR/Comms
- Obtain a deep understanding of emerging threats our members face with the end goal of analyzing the costs and benefits of potential solutions by contributing to internal discussions, newsletters, reports and presentations that raise awareness and serve as a call to actionÂ
- Explore vast amounts of data in search of insights and stories that can be turned into powerful business rules and mitigation strategies
- Play an active role in the process of leveraging resources to protect members and advocate for enhancements to the member experience
We’re looking for:
- Minimum of 1+ years in a similar role or project experience in Trust and Safety
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis and proficiency with SQL and R and/or Python
- Knowledge of Google Docs suite, including Sheets and SlidesÂ
- Passion for analyzing, prioritizing, and optimizing anti-abuse countermeasures
- Ability to be scrappy and navigate ambiguity with curiosity and zeal in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent judgment and communication skills
- Superior time management and prioritization skills
- Bachelor degree or higher
Bonus Points if:
- You have familiarity with privacy and data security issues
- Experience with large data sets
- Experience with data visualization tools (eg, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude)
