Area Leasing Consultant I | Windsor Miami
 
The Area Leasing Consultant is responsible for supporting specific sites within a limited geographic region.  This role requires strong sales and leasing skills. Responsible for all aspects of rental income, including showing and leasing apartments through effective selling and closing techniques.  A successful Area Leasing Specialist 1 has a thorough knowledge of all the communities, competition and current market. Strong computer skills are required.

Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert on our communities and the local area to engage prospects and deliver great tours.
  • Showcase model and vacant apartments, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Implement follow-up and closing techniques to maximize lease conversions.
  • Plan resident events and ensure high resident satisfaction through responsive customer service.
  • Use creative outreach (calls, emails, corporate visits) to generate leads and drive occupancy.
  • Assist with promotional programs, online advertising, and social media outreach.

Role Expectations:
  • Master new sales strategies.
  • Work weekends to help prospective residents find their new home.
  • Stay organized and responsive to daily property needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with property management software (Yardi and Funnel preferred).
 
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in retail, hospitality, or multifamily housing.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: college degree preferred.

Compensation is $54,000 annually, which includes a base salary and bonus program. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
 
Drug testing and background checks are an employment requirement. This is a required step in the hiring process.
