JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Assistant Manager Treasury

Reporting to: Manager Treasury

Division: Corporate Finance Services Division - CFS

Location: Landhi Plant- Karachi

Job Summary:

The incumbent would be responsible for looking over the areas of imports/exports, cash budgeting, WWICB as well as assisting Manager Treasury in managing the Company’s Retirement Funds.

Major Responsibilities:

• Maintain good banking relationships
• Managing the import / export trade business of the company in close liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure competitive foreign exchange and interest rates are negotiated with the banks
• Preparation of treasury dashboard
• Managing all inward / outward remittances of the Company and liaising with the Central Bank on various issues
• Assisting in preparation of Cash Budget and performing variance analysis
• Assist in preparation of several board presentations
• Management of lease financing and it’s accounting thereon
• Miscellaneous periodic international reporting to the Parent Company
• Managing or provide assistance in investment activities for excess liquidity
• Provide support during audit with responsibility
• Prepare bank reconciliation for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• MBA (Finance)/ACCA
• Preferably the incumbent should have 2-3 years’ experience in Treasury.
• Familiarity with Corporate Treasury and Insurance functions would be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Adequate MS Office and Power BI skills.
• Negotiation skills and Decision making ability.
• Good team player.
