Assistant Treasurer

Job Summary

The Assistant Treasurer provides the company with the financial resources needed to execute day-to-day global Treasury operations and long-term strategic financial goals, while guiding the company through sometimes volatile financial markets. As a key resource within the Treasury team, the Assistant Treasurer is critical in ensuring that the company has the daily liquidity, financial resources, effective working capital management and appropriate financial risk management and mitigation strategies. This position reports to the Treasurer. 

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage capital markets activities including debt issuances, investment management, share repurchase program management, foreign exchange hedge management and ensuring all the related financial reporting comply with accounting standards
• Oversee global liquidity and global cash management operations to ensure adequate funding for ongoing business operations, working capital fluctuations, and strategic opportunities while minimizing net interest expense
• Develop and manage financial risk management strategies for foreign exchange risks and interest rate risks, in addition to commodity risks as needed
• Provide strong leadership and foster solid development of the treasury team to work closely with the various business unit leadership teams on strategic business projects to capture operational efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and risk management improvements
• Develop, foster, and manage strong external financial relationships with the company’s bank group, rating agencies and financial partners
• Develop and maintain financial analysis and models to support the company's credit metrics including rating agency and bank presentations
• Develop and deliver clear, insightful presentations tailored for diverse audiences, including internal teams, external partners, senior management, and the Board of Directors, to support informed decision-making and strategic alignment
• Oversee integration of Treasury operations and activities related to Company’s acquisitions, divestitures and strategic initiatives
• Support ongoing financial reporting of treasury activities and manage quarterly debt compliance requirements and reporting
• Maintain a robust system of internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure strong Treasury controls

Leadership

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and strong analytical skills
• Candidate should be highly motivated and team oriented 

Requirements

• A minimum of 12+ years of demonstrated senior level experience in a treasury, finance or an accounting-related field is required
• A minimum of 7+ years of work experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Foreign Exchange, Global Cash Management, Investment Banking, and/or the Capital Markets or related areas
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
• MBA, CFA, or other advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or Statistics is preferred
