We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with 6-9 years of experience to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance database solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in T-SQL programming, OLTP systems, and Azure SQL technologies, including ADF and Azure Data Lake. You will be responsible for writing complex stored procedures, views, and functions, as well as optimizing query performance and designing efficient indexing strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft TFS, Visual Studio, and DevOps is essential. A strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development: Collaborate with multiple Scrum teams to deliver high quality database programming solutions aligned with sprint requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve database performance issues, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• SQL Best Practices: Adhere to industry best practices for SQL code development to ensure efficiency and maintainability.
• Azure Cloud Expertise: Work with Azure cloud platforms, including Advanced Python Programming, SSIS, Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake, Data Storage, and Azure SQL.
  
• Troubleshooting & Resolution: Independently analyze and troubleshoot real-time database issues, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Automated Testing: Develop and implement unit tests to ensure automated testing and code reliability.
• Code Integrity: Apply SOLID development principles to maintain data integrity and system cohesiveness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand and fulfill database requirements.
• Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for performance and its impact on business success.
• Problem-Solving: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Experience: 6-9 years of hands-on experience in SQL development.
• Independence: Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in T-SQL programming, performance tuning, OLTP systems, and Azure SQL.
• Database Development: Skilled in writing complex stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions.
• Tools & Technologies: Experience working with Microsoft TFS, Visual Studio, and DevOps.
• Data Handling: Ability to work with large datasets while ensuring optimal query performance.
• Indexing Strategies: Expertise in designing efficient indexing strategies to enhance application performance.
• Cloud Proficiency: Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or similar technologies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
