AVEVA AIM Senior Administrator - USA

We have opportunities for Senior AVEVA AIM (Advanced) Administrators. As the subject matter expert (SME), you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and management of AVEVA AIM Hybrid or Advanced environments supporting project and operational requirements. This role can be remote within Canada or the USA.

You will work closely with the client's capital projects, operations or maintenance teams to implement and support the AVEVA AIM solution. In addition, you may also liaise with external engineering contractors, vendors, and AVEVA.

Here's how you will contribute:

• Maintain user access and provide day to day end user support for AVEVA AIM instances
• Configuration of AVEVA AIM Gateways and supporting all updates and changes to them
• Setting up AIM instances for new projects and maintenance and upgrade of existing projects
• Support and monitor (QA/QC) data uploads to instances of AVEVA AIM by creating scheduled reporting to monitor data upload progress.
• Configure and maintain data interfaces between AVEVA AIM to other systems or applications utilizing AVEVA ISM (validation of taxonomies including hierarchy, classes, or functional or physical attributes)
• Support and maintain document file transfers/interface from EDMS system(s) to AVEVA AIM Advanced
• Make changes to AVEVA AIM configuration to add new functionality, enhance existing workflows or create a better end use experience.
• Create standards, templates, use cases, or documentation to support Asset Information Management
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to effectively load, analyze, and optimize Asset Information
• Configuration of visuals, reports, dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) with AVEVA AIM
• Providing training and demonstrations to Project Teams, Facility, Operations and Maintenance end users.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you have a Computer Science degree or an engineering-related degree with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience working with engineering-related software or engineering IT technologies for an owner operator in a processing facility or an EPC. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Additionally, you have:

• Hands on working experience administering and standing up AVEVA AIM or AVEVA NET instances within an Owner Operator or EPC environment
• 5+ years working experience with related AVEVA products such as AVEVA NET, AVEVA Work Tasks, AVEVA Integration Service, AVEVA Engineering or AVEVA Information Standards Manager (ISM) as an administrator
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
• Analytical, diagnostic, project management and critical thinking skills
• Ability to document methods, workflows and training materials and ability to effectively train and support a variety of users.
• Working knowledge and experience with database systems such as Dabacon and SQL
• Working knowledge and experience with programing languages such as VB6, C# and web API's, PowerShell
• Ability to analyze operational requirements, assess data and business work processes
• Ability to plan, implement, test, document and troubleshoot system integrations or upgrades
• Engineering business processes, data and document management experience would be desirable
