As a critical lead of the eCommerce team, you will help take the professional digital experience to new heights, with a keen understanding of the Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (COP) business. You are a hard-working digitally minded eCommerce trailblazer that can think and act strategically, but also manage the day-to-day business operations. You enjoy being part of a highly efficient team that helps drive digital transformation across the business. The B2B eCommerce Manager will manage site operations, merchandising, marketing, and day-to-day execution to drive traffic and sales across the B2B platforms. In addition, you will own and drive the ongoing digital roadmap defining new opportunities to drive growth through the business channels. As the key professional touch point, the sites must promote and deliver an outstanding shopping and education experience, while simultaneously achieving monthly sales and conversion KPI's and ensuring an excellent user experience, all while growing Colgate Professional lifetime value.
What you will do
- Report to Sr Director & GM of the COP business on performance, sales results and build a long term strategy on growing B2B business
- Define and develop the new & existing digital transformation initiatives such as eCommerce B2B platform and build a long term strategy to double online sales & customer partnership
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and Education to develop strategies to drive awareness, traffic and conversion, including: in-office, social, influencer, and PR to support growth plans and key initiatives. As well as parter with third party agencies on the development of content for promotions and on-site engagement, including optimization to drive visits and sales.
- Lead and develop the site merchandising strategy and UX/UI experience to drive sales
- Responsible for championing the B2B digital roadmaps, including organizational change and training, working closely with GIT, Marketing, Education, and Sales to enable new capabilities.
- Partner cross-functionally on CRM and email marketing strategies to drive professional engagement as well as professional lifetime value.
- Lead comprehensive site testing and optimization program to drive outstanding site usability for professionals.
- Influence & onboard COP Sales Team to drive incremental growth on websites, develop marketing material & training
- Partner with GIT to influence global tech capabilities and roadmap
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly sales reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, eCommerce or related field
- 7+ years of experience across the eCommerce landscape, with previous experience managing a B2B business
- Strong business and analytical skill
- Consistent track record in leading B2B and/or DTC businesses and improving for conversion
- Experience driving marketing programs and strategies to optimize for professional or consumer lifetime value
- Skilled at working across multiple functions and translating strategies into business use cases to deliver sophisticated digital projects
- Expertise in using data to make strategic decisions on site usability and optimization
- Proven track record of growing online sales through managing product merchandising and assortment
- Ability to analyze website performance metrics and drive user behavior, translate metrics into actionable insights, and grow online sales through optimization of user engagement
- Comfortable with leading cross functional decision making processes with all levels of people
Preferred Qualifications
- DTC experience a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with day-to-day sales operations, website management, and implementation and enhancement projects using eCommerce platforms like VTEX, SAP/hybris, Gigya, etc.
- Digital leader that can drive transformation and change inside organizations and/or with customer
- Design standard processes or Human-centered design skills
- Developing strategies, visions, and working with Product Managers to influence Road Maps
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
