Description:

Reporting into the National Talent Acquisition Manager, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will develop sourcing strategies for diverse candidates and cultivate talent pipelines nationally using innovative outreach methods. Please note this is a 12-month contract position - hybrid working model. Candidate can be located in Guelph, ON and surrounding areas or Montréal, QC and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source candidates in the market by leveraging sourcing channels (ie. networking, social media, campus, job boards, internet research, internal career web page and cold calling to identify active and passive talent).
  • Develop a robust candidate pipeline through networking, direct sourcing, referrals, database mining, referencing and job postings.
  • Build a strategic and targeted sourcing plan for each job requisition based on research results. Critically assess candidate capabilities employing best practices in interviewing to discern and identify the highest quality candidates from the sourced pool.
  • Conduct screening of sourced candidates, evaluate their capability for the role based on their skill sets; Transfer successful candidate files to Talent Acquisition Advisors on the team.
  • Partner with client groups and HR team to build and assess recruitment strategies and sourcing plans that support current and future business needs.
  • Share Sleeman’s employer value proposition with identified candidates by using influencing skills and create a positive experience for each candidate contacted.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Advisors on identifying challenging market conditions, role requirements or skill or budget constraints and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Establish external benchmarks and appropriate KPIs to inform Sleeman’s sourcing strategies and measure ongoing success of same; Gather analyze and present data and market trends regularly to key stakeholders
  • Conduct full cycle, end to end recruitment as back up to other Talent Acquisition Advisors to cover vacancies or vacations or as otherwise needed.
  • Seek out and develop relationships with a variety of community and agency partners, with a focus on sourcing diverse candidates nationally.
  • Provide professional advice and expertise when consulting with hiring leaders on a variety of staffing needs, employment legislation, hiring and employment data, and interpretation of internal HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide sourcing training and guidance to newer Talent Acquisition Advisors and other HR partners as required.
  • Provide support to Human Resources team members in their recruitment efforts, as required
  • Act as a brand ambassador with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Manage within the recruitment budget for job postings, campaigns and partnership groups.
  • Partner with local schools (colleges, university) in several regions for co-op and new grad hires and attend campus events on behalf of Sleeman; Develop & manage relationships with third party recruitment agencies and academic institutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field
  • 4 to 6 years experience in front end recruitment, including sourcing, headhunting, phone screens and candidate management. Experience in end-to-end recruitment
  • Bilingualism in English and French (written and spoken in both languages) required to support recruitment needs nationally.
  • Agency recruitment experience would be considered a strong asset
  • Proficient knowledge of the talent market and how to use this data to understand candidate trends, and making correlations between competencies and success.
  • Good experience and knowledge of using social media and other digital resources to source and attract candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of current government legislation as it pertains to recruitment and selection.
  • Proven consulting, negotiation, relationship management and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail required
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multi-task and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Working knowledge of Workday, Microsoft Office product suites, Boolean searches and database mining.

Évaluer de manière critique les capacitĂ©s des candidat(es) en se basant sur les bonnes pratiques en matière d'entrevue afin de discerner et d'identifier les meilleur(es) candidat(es) dans le bassin de recrutement.
  • Effectuer la prĂ©sĂ©lection des candidat(es), Ă©valuer leurs capacitĂ©s pour le poste en fonction de leurs compĂ©tences ; transfĂ©rer les dossiers des candidat(es) retenu(es) aux conseiller(ères) en acquisition de talents de l'Ă©quipe.

Exigences:

  • BaccalaurĂ©at en ressources humaines, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • De 4 Ă  6 ans d’expĂ©rience en matière de recrutement, y compris le repĂ©rage de candidat(es), le recrutement de cadres, la prĂ©-sĂ©lection tĂ©lĂ©phonique et la gestion des candidat(es). ExpĂ©rience du processus complet de recrutement.
  • Bilinguisme en français et en anglais (Ă©crit et parlĂ© dans les deux langues) requis pour rĂ©pondre aux besoins de recrutement au niveau national.
