The ideal candidate is a creative student who is passionate about creating engaging and compelling brand experiences with a focus on these fundamentals: design thinking, visual communication, and user experience.
This intern will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and learn from senior visual designers who have deep and broad knowledge across a variety of marketing applications, including digital ads, presentations, tradeshows, events, social media, printed collateral, and product documentation.
Learning Opportunities:
  • Understand our Nuance brand identity and apply it to customer experiences
  • Understand the basics of creating for the digital world and for print
  • Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent campaigns based on specific creative briefs, customer profiles, and goals in partnership with senior designers
  • Collaborate in concept development and design ideation with content expert owners
  • Assist in updating brand design templates, standards, and style guidelines
  • Reorganize our illustration library
  • Understand digital accessibility requirements

Areas of responsibility:
  • Support Digital Marketing with the execution of key digital marketing campaigns
  • Support Solutions Marketing and Digital Marketing with the creation/refresh of product/solution pages
  • Support Brand+Creative digital team on key web initiatives

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
  • Education: Working toward a degree in Graphic Design or Digital Arts or equivalent field.

Required skills:
  • Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and MS PowerPoint
  • Understanding of visual design principles:
    • Composition
    • Typography to effectively communicate information hierarchy
    • Use of color and imagery
    • Designing and applying digital content for accessibility is a plus!
