JOB SUMMARY
The Habit Burger Grill is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager who is innovative with a growth mindset, and agile to manage a wide range of marketing initiatives for the brand. Reporting to the Vice President, Brand Marketing and overseeing one direct report, the primary focus of the Brand Marketing Manager is to lead marketing calendar, digital promotions and consumer usage occasions ensuring alignment with brand strategy and positioning.
The ideal candidate for this position is a creative, resourceful, self-starter who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and strong process management skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assess and identify growth opportunities through competitive analysis, consumer insights, menu, and macro consumer trends.
- Develop and execute 2-3 year out marketing calendar focused on new products and digital promotions to drive incremental sales, transactions, and margin.
- Partner with F&B & Consumer Insights to develop a robust pipeline of ideas from concept to launch (including markets tests and national launches) utilizing the 4D new product development process.
- Develop product strategy briefs to guide product development and creative messaging.
- Develop, test, and execute relevant and compelling digital promotions to build customer loyalty and drive additional visits.
- Partner with Consumer Insights and Marketing Analytics to evaluate key performance indicators of various marketing initiatives, provide data driven analysis and recommendations to inform decision making.
- Lead internal and external communications for new products and promotions across executive leadership, internal stakeholders, franchisees and field Operations and agencies.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives for new projects, core menu optimization and brand refresh activities.
- Develops, and implements initiatives to grow existing consumer usage occasions (i.e. lunch, dinner, value menu) and identifies new consumer usage occasions based brand strategy, competition, consumer insights and analytics.
- Manages the development and implementation of Packaging Strategy to support core products and company's sustainability vision and goals.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of directly applicable marketing experience; industry experience preferred.
- Professional marketing background with brand management experience in the restaurant or retail environment with both company-owned and franchise locations.
- Ability to provide hospitality focused field support to corporate partners and franchise owners.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently from inception through completion within specified timelines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Operations, Culinary, IT, Finance, Franchise Development, etc.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and basic graphic design software programs.

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $127,300 to $149,800 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
