- Previous experience in training or mentoring offshore teams.
- Knowledge of construction software platforms and tools.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Build Support - Senior Manager to oversee the home build process for our members and provide exceptional service and support. In this key role, you will coordinate all aspects of construction operations, ensuring that projects run smoothly, and efficiently, and meet our member expectations. Additionally, you will manage and mentor an offshore team, ensuring seamless collaboration and the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also be responsible for driving continuous process innovation and implementing new systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the build process.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee and coordinate all stages of the home build process, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our members, addressing concerns and providing updates to ensure a positive member experience.
- Schedule and track construction milestones, ensuring all necessary resources are in place and projects stay on track.
- Member Service & Support:
- Maintain strong relationships with our members, providing timely and transparent communication throughout the build process.
- Address member inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction at all stages of the build.
- Conduct post-build follow-up to ensure member satisfaction and address any service-related concerns.
- Defect Inspection/Rectification management to ensure members are updated and defects are rectified in a reasonable timeframe.
- Offshore Team Management:
- Lead and manage an offshore team, ensuring clear communication, delegation of tasks, and alignment with project timelines.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure the offshore team has the skills and knowledge necessary to meet project and member requirements.
- Regularly monitor team performance, provide feedback, and ensure that KPIs are being met consistently.
- KPI Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the home build process and offshore team operations.
- Provide regular reports on performance to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate processes to ensure that KPIs are being met and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Process Innovation & Improvement:
- Analyze current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement process innovations to streamline operations and enhance member satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to suggest new solutions for the home build process.
- Work closely with the operations and construction teams to implement changes and ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, construction, or a similar field, with a strong understanding of the home build process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and teams across different locations.
- Experience managing and leading offshore teams, with a focus on performance management and training.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to innovate and think creatively to solve problems and improve processes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience monitoring KPIs and providing actionable insights.
