Job Description

The new Business Development Manager role will be positioned as an entry level role to grow and develop into a Regional Director whilst having in situ job learning, experience and training, working on specific projects and task management with the Group Director IPD & the Regional Director team with direct involvement with the franchise & alliance countries as required i.e. new country / partner replacement evaluations & negotiations, working cross functionally with internal departments, aged debt reviews, support for Regional meetings/Global Conference, specific country projects / pilots and support of group initiatives.

The incumbent will also be involved in the Franchise Strategic Initiative with direct responsibility for interdepartmental coordination focussing on revenue growth to the Franchise network

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

• Internal : All relevant departments inc SSC for Franchise Network processes & strong link with Legal Dept
• External : Franchise country Senior Management / Owners & External organisations that are relevant within the Franchise environment ecosystem

Qualifications

Previous experience : Strong working knowledge of Europcar & Goldcar processes and operational field management would be beneficial but not essential

Education level / certificates : Ideally of University Level

Languages : Expert Level in English (Written & Spoken) & a second language would be of benefit, ideally Spanish, French, Arabic

Computer skills and software used : Microsoft & Google packages : 

Personal characteristics : 

Team Player, with ability to work as part of a team as well as individually

Resilient & Strong Negotiation Skills
