Business Intelligence Analyst II

This role will be responsible for creating analytics, translating business questions to actionable insights, supporting ongoing analytical needs, designing new analytical platforms, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytics solutions. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work and contribute in a team environment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Works collaboratively with team members and colleagues, delivering on assigned aspects of projects and analyses.
Responsibilities:

• Develops, builds, designs, and deploys business solutions through advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
• Investigate ways to streamline report generation and provide business leaders with resources to enable informed decision making, including self-service tools that enable users to analyze data.
• Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
• Partners with the BI Lead in developing and executing project plans within the assigned schedule and timeline.
• Communicate with management on impacts to changes in project scope while communicating impact to management and team.
• Work with team to proactively identify work, communicate and resolve project issues and risks that interfere with project execution or success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data stewards, data owners, and IT teams, to establish and maintain data governance processes and workflows.

Education, experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytical, quantitative, or related field.
• 3 years of working experience in a data focused analytics role.
• Strong knowledge and experience working in SQL and knowledge of data warehousing and data lakes.
• Strong knowledge and experience with business intelligence & data visualization systems (e.g. Microstrategy, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik and/or Tableau)
• Relevant experience with big data sets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with peers, business partners, and leadership.
• Experience successfully collaborating on complex analytics projects involving a matrix of cross-functional teams.
