We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Business Intelligence (BI) Data Engineer to join our Revenue Operations team. As a BI Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our business intelligence and analytics applications for sales, marketing, and finance. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and finance stakeholders to understand their unique needs, develop actionable strategies, and implement data-driven solutions that optimize organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Croatia data platform team to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization's data systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, ETL processes, and data visualizations that cater to the specific requirements of business stakeholders in sales, marketing, and finance.
• Construct and oversee data pipelines that seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse, specifically for sales, marketing, and finance functions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions, business rules, and data governance policies related to sales, marketing, and finance.
• Vigilantly monitor data quality, accuracy, and completeness to ensure that reports and analyses related to sales, marketing, and finance are reliable and trustworthy.
• Collaborate with the IT team to guarantee that data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable, allowing for seamless integration into business processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, streamlining data collection, analysis, and reporting related to sales, marketing, and finance operations.
• Work closely with the BI Analyst, sales, marketing, and finance stakeholders to pinpoint requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement solutions tailored to sales, marketing, and finance needs.
• Keep updated with the latest tools and technologies in data engineering and business intelligence. Keep updated with GTM technologies and architectures.

As a successful candidate, you will possess a strong background in data engineering with domain expertise in sales, marketing and finance, as well as experience working with Salesforce data. Additionally, you should be familiar with cloud-based data technologies and have outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, particularly in sales, marketing, and finance areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a related field, with specialized expertise in sales and/or marketing.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, SQL and NoSQL
• Familiarity with cloud-based data technologies.
• Proficiency in data modeling and database design related to one or more fields: sales, marketing, and finance.

• Familiarity with current data protection and privacy laws.

• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English speaking and writing
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Desired knowledge of Salesforce data architecture and experience working with Salesforce data
