Summary

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to use protective clothing and gear and observe safety precautions, when necessary.

- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:
Applicants must have successfully completed all the requirements for a doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D. or equivalent) accredited by the American Psychology Association (APA), directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
AND
Applicants must possess a current, valid, unrestricted license to practice independently in psychology.
Additional information
This position is subject to an initial physical examination. A passing physical examination result must be received by human resources within 30 calendar days after the Entrance on Duty (i.e., start date). The selectee's inability to successfully pass; or refusal to conduct the physical examination may result in 1) the tentative or final job offer being withdrawn during the recruitment process; or 2) subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment.
You may be required to sign a 'Physical Examination Statement of Understanding' if you are selected for this position.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
