Great Hill Solutions is seeking a Cloud Architect/Migration SME ready to support a dynamic, innovative acquisition program. This position will perform in-depth program analysis and coordination assignments, and services in support of the program. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a transparent, collaborative team environment and possess outstanding communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Cloud Architect/Migration SME will be responsible for assisting in defining reference architectures, standards, and interfaces for re-use across the customer portfolio as well support identifying capability gaps and shortfalls, determining new technology and system requirements, identifying possible solutions, assessing technology maturation and advancements to address suitability of developed solutions, and assessing testing and integration requirements, costs, and activities and their results.

• Assistance in the migration of multiple programs to the cloud through developing migration strategies, advising on cloud architectures, and facilitating cloud deployment methodologies.
• Assist in planning, designing, and evaluating Contractor proposed
  migration/onboarding plans for portfolio of programs and data to the cloud.
• Assist in designing and evaluating Contractor proposed end-to-end automation
  of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud
  environment.
• Assist in designing and managing the programs cloud computing strategies. This
  includes cloud adoption plans, cloud management and monitoring.
• Assist in planning, designing, and evaluating Contractor proposed
  migration/onboarding plans for portfolio of programs and data to the cloud.
• Assist in defining security guidance, governance, risk management, scalability,
  and cost optimization of the cloud environment.
• Organize, understand, and analyze PEO STRI’s data use and needs to find
  patterns and develop logical groupings and solutions that meets UnITE’s
  goals.
• Apply decision analysis techniques to ensure that the engineering approach is
  cost effective and satisfies the training objectives as it applies to Cloud Migration and optimization for the program.
• Support the continuum of enterprise system testing across the agile software
  development life cycle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• The contractor SME assigned to this position shall possess and maintain a SECRET security
  clearance level from the Defense Security Service.
• Advanced degree and/or certifications from an accredited college or university. 
• Viewed as a SME in related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in a related field.

 Desired Qualifications:

• Cloud Migration experience, min 5 yrs.
• Expertise/knowledge/experience with the following:
  • Agile, DevSecOps (SCRUM/JIRA/Confluence).
  • Certifications in Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, etc.
