The Practice

• Seeking BE/BC comprehensive ophthalmologist
• Current practice includes 12 ophthalmologists, 3 optometrists, certified ophthalmic technicians and a full support staff
• Due to a physician retirement, we are seeking a comprehensive ophthalmologist for our offices in Oak Lawn and Tinley Park to join as early as summer/fall 2025
• Potential for 1,000 cataract surgery cases/year!
• Exceptional facility amenities with high end technology and devices to support a thriving practice from day one
• Expect Monday through Friday office hours, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. No Saturdays.
• Cases performed at Silver Cross Hospital, the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Tinley Woods Surgery Center
• Call is 1:8
• EPIC EMR

The Details

• Due to a physician retirement in December 2025, walk into a busy practice from day one!
• Extensive mentorship exists for new graduates
• Physician owned and led practice supports autonomy of practice as well as a shareholder track with profit sharing
• Collegial atmosphere with a supportive staff
• Two-year shareholder track

The Compensation and Benefits

• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance and medical coverage at 100% (after deductible) when utilizing a Duly provider. Employer provided life and disability insurance
• Immediate 401(k) match
• Access to a non-qualified deferred compensation plan once eligibility requirements are met
• Eligible for sign-on and relocation bonus and loan forgiveness option
• Catalyst stipend of $2,500/month while completing training
• The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $325,000 - $350,000, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, this position may also be eligible for a productivity bonus, sign-on bonus, loan repayment assistance, catalyst training stipend, and relocation bonus equaling a total target cash compensation that may be between $350,000 - $500,000.
