Job Summary

The Content Marketing Communications Strategist will be creating robust communication strategies and implementing through appropriate channels to support segment goals for our Science Education brands. This individual will help build, develop, and implement digital marketing programs and teacher-focused content that drives segment and department initiatives, and builds strong customer engagement which upholds the Company brand.

This position is in West Henrietta, NY and typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. The role involved a frequent volume of work and due dates impose strain on a routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required. Requires ability to work both virtually and in the office (hybrid).What we're looking for

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 8-10 years' shown ability in communications field or related agency experience with a successful track record in integrated marketing communications strategy as well as overall project management.
  • Experience working with science education healthcare, biotech businesses/products or a large manufacturing company is desirable.
  • Experience in promotion of content via social media.
  • Experience with education professionals a plus.
  • Experience partnering with business function(s) for internal communications.
  • Experience in developing and completing projects and strategic campaigns.
  • Capability to build positive relationships and lead development of communications strategies through interactions with diverse internal and external business partners, including company senior leadership across a variety of functions and geographies.
  • Excellence in the lifecycle of written communications, including research, drafting, editing, and securing approvals.
  • Ability to build business insight to link internal communications strategy to business/functional goals and objectives.

How you will create an impact

  • Integrate appropriate marketing digital content methods and channel options to reach customers and meet defined business needs/goals.
  • Create and implement innovative content marketing programs and go-to market strategies designed to increase engagement with our teacher audience.
  • Initiate, implement, and supervise a wide range of multi-layered digital content campaigns in alignment with brand strategy, business objectives, and product/sales marketing programs.
  • Generate demand for all types of content (videos, articles, lesson plans) & drives awareness in various relevant market segments.
  • Present digital marketing concepts and programs to internal customers in an organized and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing peers to incorporate and support product sales and marketing goals via digital content and brand channel strategies.
  • Lead collaboration and message strategy development between internal marketing peers, cross-functional product teams and field organization in production and implementation of digital content and campaigns.
  • Incorporate return on investment and measure content and channel performance to improve future programs.
  • Lead science education brand presence, and brand in all activities through team collaboration and outstanding execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$73,500.00 - $122,400.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
