We are recruiting for 2 x Coordinatorfor our Site in Venlo; this is a new project so an exciting time to join us!

Do you have a passion for coordinating processes in a Warehouse and motivating, coaching and guiding a team of employees?

• Fluency in English
• Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, this may change to a 2/3 shift pattern in the future so flexibility is required

What you do on a typical day

• As a coordinator you are responsible for one or more processes within the warehouse, with the emphasis mainly on coordinating your team.
• You divide the work among the different employees and keep priorities in mind. You can often be found in the workplace, and you monitor progress.
• As a Coordinator you also ensure that work instructions are up to date.
• You report your activities and findings to the Warehouse Manager.
• Coordinating operational activities within the department.
• Training and educating (new) employees.
• Drafting and updating work instructions.
• Instructing, informing and supporting the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently and correctly (including KPI's and productivity).
• Actively respond to (expected) disruptions and opportunities for improvement of the processes of the department

What you need to succeed at GXO

• You have knowledge of logistics processes and see where improvements can be applied.
• You are familiar with the MS Office package.
• Ideally experience of utilising Warehouse Management systems
• You operate at MBO level, obtained through training or experience.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing.
• An enthusiastic, confident, positive person that can be assertive when needed, the desire to grow, with leadership skills, being an example for others
