Data Analytics Platform Architect

The Data Analytics Platform Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the robust and scalable infrastructure that supports the organization's data analytics initiatives.

Role will focus on ensuring optimal performance, data flow processes, and adherence to development standards. & play a critical role in enabling the organization to extract maximum value from its data.

As Platform Architect you will collaborate closely with development teams, functional teams, and other stakeholders to drive the successful implementation and evolution of the analytics platform.

Your involvement:

• Platform Architecture: Design, develop the platform architecture for the data analytics, including data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics tools.
• Data Integration: Design and support data source integration development and optimizations of data flow processes to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery to analytics consumers.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize platform performance to meet evolving business needs and minimize query latency.
• Development Guidelines: Establish and maintain guidelines and best practices for development teams working on the platform, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Technical Checks: Conduct regular technical checks of solutions provided by development teams to ensure compliance with standards and identify potential issues.
• Planning Optimizations: Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement optimizations for the platform, including capacity planning, performance tuning, automation, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Consultations: Provide technical consultations to development teams on platform usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Code Review: Review code developed by teams to ensure compliance with standards, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements.
• Collaboration with Functional Teams: Work closely with functional teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the platform.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics platform architecture and development
• Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data lakes, and analytics tools
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, DataBricks or others
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages
• Knowledge of data modeling and data governance principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with data virtualization and data federation technologies
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Experience with data quality and data profiling tools
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer)
