Job Description

Sidekick (YC W23) is looking for an engineer to join the team.

Sidekick is an open source ETL framework for syncing data between SaaS tools (Salesforce Zendesk Notion etc) to vector stores a necessary step in building GPT powered applications.

You would be the first hire for our company with a founder-like role in engineering with the possibility for equity-weighted or cash-weighted compensation.

You ideally have a background in data engineering and should be just as comfortable making architectural decisions as implementing them in code. Experience working on open source projects a bonus.

The cofounders:

  • Jason worked as a PM on Robinhood's trust & safety team prior to Sidekick. His hobbies used to include kickboxing and scuba before becoming a founder now he just tries to touch grass every once in awhile.
  • Ayan worked as an iOS engineer on Robinhood's trust & safety team prior to Sidekick. He's an avid swimmer and NFL fan
