We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer to support our client based in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Opportunity
As a Data Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in assessing business information needs and developing system requirements. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data solutions within the Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment. This includes tasks like data architecture design, data management, and database integration, utilizing cutting-edge tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Catalog.
You will work closely with the user community to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity using analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau. The role involves prototyping, testing, and executing data processes such as data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and transformation, while maintaining enterprise data models. Staying updated on software tools, languages, and technologies supporting the Snowflake cloud environment is essential.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Gather and assess business information needs; develop system requirements.
- Conduct data mining and analysis in the Snowflake environment, managing data design, architecture, and integration.
- Utilize Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Catalog for data management.
- Validate and ensure the accuracy of data loaded into the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with the user community to gather reporting requirements.
- Provide technical consulting and resolve data usage conflicts.
- Develop and test solutions for Snowflake data processes including replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and transformation.
- Manage enterprise data modeling and keep abreast of new tools and techniques in the field.
Compensation and TermÂ
This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $135,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications you need
A successful Data Integration Engineer has the following experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Equivalent work experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in data management and business intelligence.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud Administration.
- Experience with IICS Cloud Administration .
- Experience with Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools .
- Experience with Power BI/Tableau.
- Experience with ELT with Change Data Capture solutions like PowerExchange.Â
- Experience with Data Governance products.
