We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Database Specialist Consultant who’ll join our Data & AI Software services organization IBM Expert Labs in the beautiful city of Kraków Poland. We’re looking for a person with a passion to design and implement solutions in the world of database. Also we are looking for a person with an aspiration to grow skills further up in the world of data warehousing big data and data lakes.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a specialist consultant working under minimal supervision you will provide subject matter expertise in the form of supporting briefings workshops and/or consulting engagements within your domain that assess a client’s database capabilities as well as recommending solutions to enhance the client’s overall database capabilities.

This position will also work directly with cross functional teams product management support and engineering to develop and help maintain database systems at customers.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Work on IBM Db2 and/or Informix based systems – provide development deployment and post go-live services
• Configure Db2/Informix-based databases and solutions in line with technical specifications and designed architectures
• Involve in product installation/ configurations troubleshooting (performance 3rd party integrations security high availability)
• Develop ETL processes stored procedures custom functions and automations in client projects
• Document configurations and custom code
• Support customers in solution testing
