DevOps Engineer

As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our email infrastructure. Your expertise in email deliverability will help our clients achieve high inbox placement rates, while your DevOps skills will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of Mission Inbox's platform.

• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure for our email systems.

• Email Deliverability Expertise: Configure, monitor, and optimize DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and other email authentication protocols to ensure top-tier deliverability.

• Automation & Monitoring: Build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and implement robust monitoring solutions to detect and resolve issues proactively.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to integrate Postfix, OpenDKIM, and other MTA tools seamlessly into the product.

• Performance Optimization: Analyze email bounce rates, deliverability logs, and DMARC reports, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high inbox placement.

• Email Deliverability lead: Focus on configuring email servers, ensuring robust authentication (e.g., SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and optimizing system reliability to maintain high deliverability rates.

• Incident Management: Troubleshoot email delivery issues and infrastructure outages, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent client experience.

• Scalability Solutions: Implement load balancing, storage optimization, and scalable architectures to accommodate growing client demands.

• Technical Expertise:

  • 3+ years of DevOps experience with a focus on email infrastructure.

  • Proficiency with Postfix, OpenDKIM, Dovecot, and other MTA/MDA solutions.

  • Deep understanding of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and email deliverability best practices.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms like Digital Ocean.

  • Experience with monitoring tools and automation frameworks.

  • Experience with Github.
