AECOM is seeking a Digital Consulting Services Leader to consolidate and grow our digital consulting services business and associated practice areas within the US West region. Aligning to the global digital strategy, overall regional growth strategy and focusing on key clients in the region, this role will improve the contributions of the digital consulting business for the region (i.e. revenue, margin, net promotor score). The Digital Consulting Services Leader will report to a senior executive who is sponsoring the overall digital adoption strategy within the US West region.
This position can be a hybrid or remote/office with occasionally going into the office and traveling as needed. This position can be located near any AECOM West Region Office.
About Digital @AECOM
As a member of the global digital consulting services leadership team, and indirectly reporting to the VP, Digital Solutions Director, you will work with leaders from around the world to define and position the digital consulting services, to share best practices, to leverage global capabilities and to support global opportunities and projects. While services and solution management will be set globally, they will be tailored for implementation within the region and for each client.
The Digital Consulting Services Leader will work closely with regional leadership and global digital leadership to build, manage, and expand a department of digital consulting professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the alignment of the needs of the business and the current capabilities of the team to set growth and hiring recommendations
- Engage in strategically selected projects to provide advisement and strategy development and solutioning within teams
- Consolidating continuous understandings of market trends, barriers of adoption, and team growth needs to convey to senior leadership
- P&L responsibilities including revenue generation, project margin achievement, DSO, G&A, project delivery, client satisfaction, cost utilization, safety, claims resolution and quality
- Identify and develop key client relationships and monitor client satisfaction levels, in coordination with existing Client Account Managers when applicable.
- Plans, organizes, and implements business development activities.
- Leading regional digital consulting bids and supporting global bids
- Directs and coordinates activities of the team.
- Ensures the success and growth of the consulting team in collaboration with the other regional teams.
- Connecting and sharing resources with teams in other regions
- Promoting the service offerings internally and externally
- Recognizing outstanding contributions and outcomes Developing career plans for people within the digital organization

Minimum Requirement:
- BA/BS + 10 years' experience in digital project and solution delivery, including two years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to cross business lines in understanding and collaboration
- Demonstrated client relationship and business development capabilities
- Demonstrated inspirational leadership
- Demonstrated innovation delivery
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
- Knowledge of financial reporting (return on investment)
- Demonstrated experience building a digital consulting practice (for key accounts, digital or technology practices e.g. Analytics, ITS, ICT, digital solutions)
- Experience in architectural, engineering, or construction or other associated infrastructure professional consulting industries

- Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $122,000 - $225,000.
